Lumberjacks, Kings & Carpenters: In Progress

I love posting in progress photos. Putting up a finished picture is great and rewarding but in progress photos show the essence of what I do, Draw. I have recently started on a more refined and focused body of work called, Lumberjacks, Kings, & Carpenters. Keeping the same stylistic approach as I have on past drawings but adding some more subjects.

These new additions are nude women wearing Revolutionary War garb. I have always been fascinated with that time period and George Washington. I thought why not take some inspiration from it and add my own twist, thus nude women. I love the contrast of the glove and string shoulder pads against the flesh.

I was also able to break through and get a logger in the drawing. That was pretty awesome. The visuals for this in progress work are below and there is much more work to be done.

Enjoy.
